A Word from the Author
MJ Wooding is a pen name for secret reasons.
The woman behind the keyboard and the pen name have a remarkable amount in common, which should be a given, as we are one and the same. But don’t we all, at times, take out a different persona for a spin, to see how the world feels from a different perspective?
It should be said that both of us like tea. My pen name tried whisky once, but couldn’t convince me of its merits. We are both avid readers of crime fiction – naturally. We lament how our aging ears can’t always quite catch that juicy piece of gossip on the bus, and we both look forward to the first southerly change that hints at the coming of winter, when writing involves a warm Cavalier draped over our lap while we plot murder.
